I’ve been using “Walkability” scores on my flyers from Walkscore.com for a year and a half. Seen brokers scoff at this in the suburbs, but for some buildings, it is an advantage! Close to residential (potential employees), mass transit, it makes a difference in comparing locations.
What’s your property walk score? Read the article by “The Registery”. I disagree with rating a city overall, as some buildings really have great scores, but the city may not. Another decision point to add in your building search criteria. Of course, Downtown San Francisco is the best, doesn’t mean the only decision point for your business!
Important in residential selection too!
