Google & Loopnet study on commercial online search behavior
Study by Google and Loopnet about online search behavior. Interesting that 60% of people looking for commercial space search online, 95% of people looking for homes search online. The opportunity benefits the smaller more tech savvy broker and you don’t have to go too deep into a website for key words that help in searches.
When I’m looking for a listing, I start on Loopnet. Most brokers have all their listings in the East Bay on Loopnet. “Pocket” listings, where a broker holds the information in their “pocket”, aren’t too prevalent anymore for leasing, still so for selling property.
